Adult Mental Health First Aid (Wales) Training
The Adult Mental Health First Aid (Wales) course teaches adults how to provide Mental Health First Aid to friends, families and co-workers and can be completed from the convenience of your home or office, without the need to travel and at your own pace through interactive modules and webinars online.
Mental Health First Aid is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem, or in a mental health crisis. The first aid is given until the appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.
The online version of the Mental Health First Aid (Wales) consists of e-learning at home and two webinars (each webinar approx. 2 ½ hours long) led by a Mental Health First Aid (Wales) trainer.
Everyone who attends the course will receive an online copy of the MHFA manual which is an excellent support resource. When you have completed the course you will also receive a certificate to confirm that you are a trained Mental Health First Aider.
If your company requires this training or further information, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Attended a two day MH First Aid course at Breathe in August 2019. Delivery and content was superb, highly recommended. The knowledge and tools the course provides, will prove invaluable in recognising and helping those whom are experiencing mental health concerns.
Was lucky enough to get a space on Hannah’s last course and was not disappointed! I came away with a much better understanding of the impact mental health has on not just the brave people who suffer but the families and relationships who are there to support. I highly recommend people doing this even if you're not in a supporting role.
Hannah is a fantastic trainer, warm, open and approachable style and extremely knowledgeable as a MHFA instructor. I look forward to attending another of her courses!
