Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions Answered

How do I book a free 15-minute introductory session?

You can use the ‘book online’ function on the website to select a day and time that is convenient for you. Alternatively, you can         e-mail info@hannahcartertherapy.com or send a text message to 07787 360510 with your availability. The appointment time will then be confirmed as soon as possible.

How do I go about payment?

Payment is required at the time of booking your first 50-minute counselling or 90-minute life coaching session. Any sessions thereafter need to be paid at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Bank details will be provided so payment can be made by a bank transfer or via PayPal.

How do I know how many sessions I will need?

The number of sessions you have will depend on your needs and what you bring to counselling.

You may come to therapy with a very specific problem you want to find the right solution for and find that one or two sessions is sufficient. You may come to therapy to explore issues that run a little deeper and need more time to explore. You as the client decide when therapy is helping you and when you want to stop sessions.

You can choose to have a fixed number of sessions or work with an open contract, reviewing each session how the counselling process is going for you.

What happens if I cancel a session or turn up late?

Should you need to cancel an appointment, please give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. When 24 hours’ notice is not given, the full fee will be charged for the missed session.

If you attend the 50-minute counselling session partway through the allocated time, the session will continue for the remainder of the time.
