When: Mondays to Fridays 5-8pm; Saturdays 10am-1pm

Telephone and online counselling can be a more convenient way of accessing emotional support in the comfort of your own home. You can choose a counsellor because they are a good fit rather than based on location.

If you have significant work commitments or caring responsibilities, arranging counselling sessions to fit around your busy schedule can help you be more efficient with your time.

You will need access to a confidential space where you can talk freely to participate in this type of counselling.

Walk and Talk Therapy

An outdoor setting helps calm the mind and allow thoughts to flow

Where: Bute Park in Cardiff or Fforest Fawr

When: Saturdays 10am-1pm; Sundays 1-4pm

Session length: 50 minutes

Being outside can bring a sense of freedom and remove any constraints of working indoors.

A change in scenery, the physical movement and the more relaxed atmosphere, all contribute to natural conversation flowing.

Walking helps to relax the mind and body allowing you to feel less anxious.

You can decide at what pace you want us to walk. We can pick from a number of route options based on your level of fitness, health and ability.


Choice of venue includes Bute Park in Cardiff and Fforest Fawr.

You need to ensure that you can transport yourself to and from whichever location you choose.

Face to Face Counselling

Talk freely in a safe and confidential setting

Where: The Counselling Hub, Talbot Green or at Breathe, Cardiff

When: Mondays to Fridays 5-8pm; Saturdays 10am-1pm (Counselling Hub)

Monday evenings only (Breathe)

Session length: 50 minutes

Meeting face-to-face might suit you best as you prefer to be in the company of someone as they listen to you and provide emotional support.

Scheduling a counselling session outside of your home can guarantee a safe and confidential space where you will not be overheard or disrupted.

Face to face counselling sessions are held at the Counselling Hub in Talbot Green or at Breathe in Roath, Cardiff. The safety measures that have been put in place by the Counselling Hub or Breathe will be shared with you before you give your consent to have counselling in this venue.
